Context:
Hack The Future is an anual contest by Cronos Group. We had the pleasure of being shortlisted for the juryprice and winning the publics vote. My sick teammate Alexia, supported me from home.
Question:
Design a re-branding for Natuurpunt in 4 hours. Show your branding through the upcoming event 'nacht van de duisternis'. Target group: young families.
Answer:
We all look at nature online, but not enough in real life. Do you want your child to associate nature with a picture of nature, instead of the real deal?
Going back to nature, means going back to the essence.
'Natuurpunt' becomes 'nature.' We re-designed the old logo, into a watermarkfilter, placed over all of the pictures taken during a walk in a natuur. park, to visually show how natuur. protects nature and it's essence. For the colours we went back to the essence as well, using the purest white, the purest black and the purest RGB green (representing Chlorophyll, the essence of nature).
